Message: This has to be one of the best and most honest mechanics in Reno. Mr. Doran loves his job and is not looking to rob or scam you either. Unfortunately he could not help me because he is out of town on vacation but referred me to other shops who would not rip me off. He also told me to keep in touch with him to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend him if you need foreign car work. Mr. Doran goes above and beyond.

Message: Called on Friday afternoon with an immediate issue, and Doran went out of his way to make time to see me the very next day. Within minutes, he diagnosed my issue and had the parts on hand to fix my brake caliper. So grateful for his expertise. I will definitely return in the future.

He got the part I needed in the same day, but after testing the car it didn’t seem like it was still necessary, so he sent me on my way. I feel like many places would have done the work anyway or charged a huge fee to diagnose, not with Doran though, everything was straightforward. I’d bring my car to him again if ever in the area.

He showed me the parts he replaced after the service was complete and gave me an overview of how the service went. Good local shop run by good people, price you agree to on the phone is the final price, no extra dealer/service fees. I brought my own parts and he installed them well, as well as providing a warranty on the work he did.
